You usually check out an appointment immediately after the service is provided or soon afterward. When you check out an appointment, the following things happen:

  • A new order is created
  • The customer is charged
  • A new transaction is added to the list of transactions


Procedure


  1. On the home page, choose the location where your appointment is scheduled from the top bar.
    If you don't see your location in the top bar, open the sidebar by selecting the four dots icon located at the top-left corner of the screen, and then choose the location from the list.
  2. Open the sidebar by selecting the four dots icon. Then, select Appointments.
  3. Select the appointment that you want to checkout.
  4. (Optional) If you've specified a deposit under Settings > Services, you can select the Take Deposit button.
  5. Use the Add Payment Method button to add one or multiple payment methods.
  6. (Optional) To apply a commission, choose a staff member from the Commission dropdown.
  7. (Optional) To apply a tip, use the Apply Tip dropdown.
  8. When you've finished, select the Complete Order button.
