In Timewise, the discounts feature allows you to:

• Offer discounts based on the booking date or several events such as a customer's birthday or anniversary.
• Specify the services, packages, classes, membership plans, and products to which Timewise applies a discount
• Customize the number of times customers can use a code
• Specify that the discount is valid only if customers book a service within a specified set of dates
• Indicate whether customers can use a discount with other discounts or not.

The following table lists the actions that each predefined role can perform:

A discount is defined by the following attributes:

• Locations: Specify the locations where your new discount is enabled and can be applied.
• Name: Represents the name of your discount.
• (Optional) Description: Enter a brief description of your discount.
• Discount Code:  Enter your discount code.
• Amount: Specify the discount either as a flat amount or percentage.
• Maximum Uses: Specify the maximum number of uses for this discount code.
• (Optional) Only Staff is Allowed to Apply This Discount: Use this toggle to specify that this discount can only be used by your staff members.
• Benefits: Specify the services, classes, packages, bundles, memberships, and products to which Timewise will apply this discount.
• (Optional)Allow with Other Discounts:  Indicate whether this discount can be used with other discounts or not.
• Dates Allowed for Booking: Indicate that the discount is valid only if customers book the service within a specified set of dates.
• Code Will Be Active: Specify whether the discount code will be available between specific dates or not.

Update a Discount

If you update a discount, the changes you make will not apply to any previous purchases.
